38 Naxals surrender in Chhattisgarh

Around 38 Naxals, including, seven women, on Sunday surrendered before the Narayanpur Superintendent of Police in Chhattisgarh's Narayanpur district.

Additional Superintendent of Police Anil Soni told ANI, "Warrants were issues against 11 of the 38 Naxals for their involvement in heinous crimes such as attacks, murders and loots, while a woman Naxal was carrying a bounty of Rs. 1 lakh."

"They surrendered owing to the state government's rehabilitation policy, and now wish to lead a peaceful life ahead," he added.
