Meghalaya was jolted by tremors of earthquake in the state's East Garo Hills.
The earthquake which struck the place at around 9.35 a.m. was measured to be of 4.5 magnitude.
No reports of casualties or injuries have been reported so far.
Earlier on Saturday, mild tremors were felt in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand.
The earthquake was also felt in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir as well.
According to reports, the magnitude of the earthquake was measured to be 3.2 on the Richter Scale.
