At least four militants belonging to Afghanistan's insurgent group, Taliban, were killed in a clash with security forces in northern Baghlan province on Saturday night.
According to the Tolo News, the local officials, confirming the incident, said six other insurgents were injured.
A spokesman for the provincial police chief, Zabi Shuja, said the incident took place when dozens of Taliban insurgents attacked a security check post in Surkh Kotal village of Pul-e-Khumri.
"The Taliban retreated after several hours of clashes," he said.
However, the spokesman didn't provide any information of any casualty suffered by the security forces in the attack.
