The 2014's most anticipated movie 'Fifty Shades of Grey' has broken records, as 2.75 million tickets have been pre-sold already in 39 overseas markets.

The big screen adaptation of E.L James' book has already broken box office records in advance of the film's UK release on February 13, 2015, the Daily Express reported.

The news of the film's booming ticket sales comes after a fourth 'Fifty Shades of Grey' trailer was released recently.

Meanwhile, the film was recently rated R-18 by US officials for "strong sexual content including dialogue, some unusual behavior and graphic nudity, and for language."

The E.L James bestselling erotic novel tells the story of a sadomasochistic relationship between the charming billionaire Christian and young student Ana.

The book has become a global phenomenon, selling over 70 million copies worldwide and translated in over 50 languages.
