Marcia Gay Harden, who play's Christian Grey's mom in 'Fifty Shades Of Grey', has joined the cast of CBS' upcoming pilot 'Code Black.'
The medical drama, which is based on Ryan McGarry's feature documentary of the same name, was penned by 'Intelligence' creator Michael Seitzman and is being helmed by David Semel, Deadline.com reported.
Like the docu, it is set in the busiest and most notorious ER in the nation, LA County Hospital, where the extraordinary staff confronts a broken system in order to protect their ideals and the patients who need them the most.
Harden will play the role of Christa, a former soccer mom whose son died of cancer, but is a talented and dedicated doctor whose experience of handling her son's disease along with her intuition and life experience, makes her see things better than the younger fellow residents.
