Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Thursday sent a sari for the mother of his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi.
Sharing the information on Twitter, Modi wrote, "Nawaz Sharif ji has sent a wonderful white Sari for my Mother. I am really grateful to him and will send it to my Mother very soon."
Earlier this week, Sharif's daughter, Maryam had expressed her gratitude to Prime Minister Modi for gifting a beautiful shawl for her grandmother (Nawaz Sharif's mother).
Modi had also gifted a compilation of former prime minister Atal Behari Vajpayee's poetry as a symbol of affection and respect.
Maryam had said then on Twitter that her father was so impressed with the gift, that he personally delivered the shawl to his mother.
