Amidst the ongoing tiff with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), the producer of Bengali film 'Aaleya', Pradip Churiwal, on Tuesday clarified the words like 'Gujarat Riots' and 'Jai Shri Ram' have been used with the right intent.
He was earlier directed by the CBFC to mute some words in the flick.
"It is not a communal movie. In some scenes, we have quoted words like 'Gujarat Riots' or 'Jai Shri Ram'. But they are shown with the right intent. The dialogues are not against any community," Churiwal told ANI.
Reportedly, the regional office of CBFC has asked for six modifications including muting of the word 'Gujarat'.
