The Aam Admi Party (AAP) today blamed the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for a conspiracy against AAP workers and for misusing the police force to attack their workers.

AAP leader Manish Sisodia said in a press conference here today, "The BJP is misusing the police force to attack AAP workers. Two workers were arrested and beaten up. They were asked to name their leaders."

Sisodia also commented on AAP leader Dilip Pandey's arrest saying, "The message written on the posters was that MLA's are being sold for Rs 20 crores. Amanatullah, who had actually initiated, has not been arrested but Dilip Kumar, who was just emailed the poster, has been arrested."

Sisodia also added, "If someone can be arrested if they are sent an email, how can they be declared a terrorist? Delhi is always full of posters. Arvind Kejriwal has even been called CIA agent but only a posterabout MLA's being sold for Rs 20 crores, raises heckles?"

Another AAP leader Gopal Rai said, "If the BJP thinks that by arresting our leaders it can form a government in Delhi, then that won't be allowed at any cost. We will pay any price but won't let BJP form a corrupt government in Delhi."

Dilip Pandey and a few other AAP members were arrested on Friday under non-bailable sections 153 and 295 of the Indian Penal Code for allegedly instigating people and putting up posters with provocative message against Congress MLAs in Jamia Nagar area of South Delhi.

According to the police, Congress MLAs alleged that the posters, along with provocative message have been put up by AAP to divide the community.
