Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Parveen Amanullah vowed to fight corruption as she geared up for the upcoming general elections and filed her nomination paper on Monday in Patna.
AAP supporters crowded her vehicle and shouted slogans in support of the leader as she drove towards the venue to file her nomination.
She would counter Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate and Bollywood veteran star Shatrughan Sinha.
Reportedly, Sinha, the sitting Lok Sabha leader from e Patna was earlier shown black flags while going to file his nomination for the elections.
Meanwhile, Amanullah, harping on the "anti-corruption and anti-communalism" wave, said there is an urgent need to fight corruption and communal forces.
"We are very committed towards fighting corruption and communal violence in the area. We will bring law and order here. We will remove all the inappropriate and wrong policies. We are 100 percent committed to the same," said Amanullah.

Furthermore, AAP leader Manish Sisodia said that he was confident of her win and that the system will change only if people select a team of leaders who are not opportunists.
"In Bihar, there is only corruption in the name of governance. We want to remove that. Earlier, corruption was prevalent in the state during the reign of former chief, Lalu Prasad Yadav when people asked for change, and then came the government of Nitish Kumar. But the situation remains the same. Do you think in the past ten years the corruption in the state has reduced? From hospitals to schools to government offices- everywhere there is corruption," said Sisodia.
