Reacting to former Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Vinod Kumar Binny's comments on Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal and his party, Congress leader Satyavrat Chaturvedi on Monday said that the AAP had criticized the Congress for inflation, policies, administration and ideology, and that now they needed to prove themselves on the same aspects.

"People have done an experiment in last elections, and the results of that experiment are yet to come out. We were criticized for inflation, our policies, our administration and ideology, now they need to prove themselves on the same aspects," said Chaturvedi.

"It is their responsibilities to fulfill all promises they have made to the people of Delhi. We have extended our support so that they can fulfill their promises, and our support will continue," he said.

"Whether they will win the faith of people or not is a matter of time, but it is very easy to blame others and it is a challenge to stand true on expectations," he added.

Congress leader J.P Agarwal said that AAP did not know how to run the government and that shouting slogans on roads was different than running a government.

"There is only one thing coming out of all these things, that they do not know how to run government. Shouting on roads is different than running a government," said Agarwal.

"Binny also said that if they had promised to lower down electricity rates then they should do it. The answer to everything is very simple; they don't know how to rule as they couldn't stand on their words," he said.

Congress Spokesperson Shobha Oza said that the people of Delhi can give a better answer to Kejriwal's statement that his party been able to achieve a lot in a month which no other government has.

"Whatever Arvind Kejriwal is claiming, Delhi people can give better answer to that, as people can assess government's work," said Oza.

"Binny's expulsion is their internal matter so I would not comment on that. But as far as the government is concerned, the citizens of Delhi have to decide what AAP government has delivered to them," she said.

"Delhi is as vulnerable as it was, and as their government had promised more vans and women commandos for the safety of women, these things are still to be done. Delhi's administration should be more efficient and alert," she added.

Binny was expelled from the AAP for making false statements against the party yesterday, and has threatened a dharna against Arvind Kejriwal.

He said that the party had not fulfilled even one of the promises made to the people, and that they wanted the government to fall so that they are able to run away from their responsibilities.
