The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Wednesday said its internal survey revealed that 53 percent of Delhi's residents want Arvind Kejriwal as their chief minister, while his rivals Kiran Bedi and Ajay Maken are favoured by 34 and seven percent voters respectively.

"We have surveyed 35 constituencies, 3,188 respondents were asked about their preferences. In our survey, we asked the people who do you choose as your CM candidate. Six percent people had no opinion, seven percent opted for Ajay Maken, 34 percent opted for Kiran Bedi and 53 percent for Arvind Kejriwal," said senior AAP leader Yogendra Yadav.

He added that the AAP will get 46 percent vote share, while the BJP would manage just 33 percent.

Various opinion polls have predicted a neck-in-neck contest in the Delhi polls, with some giving a slight edge to the AAP.

The BJP goes head-to-head with the Aam Aadmi Party and the Congress in the Delhi Assembly polls scheduled to be held on February 7.

The counting of votes will be done on February 10.
