Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former cabinet minister Shahnawaz Hussain today termed the Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) 'show of strength' rally being held at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi as a futile attempt to win back their lost credibility among the people of Delhi.
Hussain said, "AAP's leader Arvind Kejriwal is not in news these days and the motive behind everything he does is to get the attention of media and newspapers."
According to Hussain, as the recently held rally by AAP of auto rickshaw drivers in Delhi's Ramlila was an utter failure, now they are going 'back to basics' by heading towards Jantar Mantar.
"AAP originated from Jantar Mantar and that's where it's going to end," said Hussain.
He added, "AAP has made such an appeal to Delhi as though entire population of the city is going to turn up for the rally, whereas in truth, people of Delhi have now understood that they won the election only for publicity and have no concern for residents of the city. Now they are attempting to win back the lost credibility amongst people of Delhi by organizing a rally in Jantar Mantar, which will not be of any consequence as people of Delhi have understood the truth of AAP.
