Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Manish Sisodia on Tuesday said this time the party will appeal to the people of Delhi to make them win the assembly elections by a majority so that they can relieve them of the troubles which they have been facing for the past eight months.
"AAP is completely ready for elections because, on February 14, 2014, when we resigned, since then, we have been preparing and we have volunteers in every corner of Delhi. After elections, the result will tell everything. We will appeal to the people of Delhi that this time they make us win by a full majority, so that what all improvements we did earlier, should be done again," said Sisodia.
He also mocked the BJP on the horse trading issue, saying, "We have been demanding for the past eight months that the LG should send to the Central Government a recommendation to dissolve the Delhi Assembly, and if it would have happened earlier, only then this Sher Singh Dagar-style of working which the BJP was using, that is purchasing MLAs for between four crores or 20 crore rupees, or offering high posts and trying to break them, all this wouldn't have happened. But now, we hope that soon the LG will announce the dissolution of the Delhi Assembly, and we are ready for elections."
He further said that for the past eight months, the people of Delhi have suffered major losses in terms of increased power and water bills, food inflation and bribery, etc, and said that the people will get rid of all of these problems only when an honest government like the AAP comes to power.
