Workers of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) protested against their party chief Arvind Kejriwal and other top-level leaders on Sunday saying these 'common men' have turned their back on the real common man of New Delhi.

A group formed out of AAP, the Aam Aadmi Sena has become hostile towards its own party, blaming it for turning a deaf ear to the demands and problems of people.

"In Delhi, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has cheated all of us. Arvind Kejriwal has cheated us. They played with emotions of people. We helped them form and run the government, but without informing anybody, they ran away in 49 days. Now they are campaigning for parliamentary elections. Kejriwal wants to sit on the seat of prime minister by playing the politics of manipulation. We will not let that happen. In all the seven seats of Delhi, we will cast our vote against Kejriwal," said a protester in New Delhi.

The protesters also alleged that the party was "selling" electoral tickets.

"People stab in the back but they stabbed in the heart of the nation. But Arvind Kejriwal and his party should remember one thing that people who can make you the crown of their heads can also make you the sandals of their feet. And now if you are ever seen in Delhi, people will hit you. The betrayal by you will not go in vain," said another protester, Nishant.

AAP plans to contest at least 350 of the 543 seats at stake in the Lok Sabha, and has promised to field strong candidates against a string of high-ranking politicians that AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal described as corrupt.
