South Africa left-arm spinner Aaron Phangiso has been reported for a suspect illegal bowling action in his country's domestic one-day cricket championship.

The incident took place in his side Highveld Lions' win against the Warriors in the semi-finals of the Momentum One-Day Cup at the Wanderers.

The 32-year-old, whose actions will now be scrutinized in accordance with the CSA Regulations, was also required to undergo independent analysis by a member of the ICC Panel of Human Movement Specialists.

Phangiso, however, will be allowed to continue bowling until the results of the test are known,Sport24 reported.

Earlier, Phangiso sparked controversy when he was seen imitating 'sniffing' an imaginary substance on his leg and then leaning back in satisfaction while sitting in the dugout during South Africa's successful run-chase against England in the second T20 at the Wanderers.
