Online recruitment marketplace AasaanJobs on Monday announced the roll out of its 'Interview scheduling' feature for employers and candidates, which will allow employers to specify and pick different time slots for scheduling interviews with job aspirants.
Most interviews are usually scheduled offline as soon as a candidate is shortlisted, with either the employer or the recruitment agency getting in touch with the individual to figure out a common time between them.
However, such processes tend to be tedious, time consuming, and utilize lots of resources just for an hour long interview. Thus, to eliminate such issues, AasaanJobs came up with a unique solution, viz. Interview scheduling, which can make this process both time and cost effective.
"With the Interview scheduling feature, we are digitizing the entire process. We wish to make this whole process it as easy as booking movie tickets," said Product Manager AasaanJobs, Nikita Navral.
The interview scheduling feature enables employers to pick time slots according to their availability for interviews after shortlisting candidates. Following this, the selected applicants can easily see the available time slots on AasaanJobs, book a slot that best suits them, and reach for the interview accordingly.
Apart from making the whole process more efficient, the interview scheduling feature will also help in avoiding any clashes, such as multiple candidates reaching for the interview at the same time. This will also ensure that employees can take interview only when they are free, allowing them to plan their day without much trouble.
While the interview scheduling feature has just been launched, AasaanJobs is already planning to launch an upgraded version soon, and is confident that this feature will become a favorite among both recruiters and candidates.
