Bollywood dance flick 'ABCD2' has received a massive opening of Rs 45 Crores at the domestic box-office, making it the biggest release of 2015.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh posted the statistics on Twitter saying, "#ABCD2 records the HIGHEST OPENING WEEKEND of 2015 [so far]. First Hindi film to cross ? 45 cr mark [Fri-Sun] in 2015. India biz."
The film is a sequel to Remo DSouza's directorial debut 'ABCD' (Anybody can dance) starring Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles.
The film was released by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures and got released in India across 2,000 screens, 500-700 of which were in 3D, making it the largest 3D release in India.
