Congress leader Abdul Majid Wani today called for initiating strict action against the teachers, who had issued anti-India diktat to the students in Jammu and Kashmir's Doda district.
Asserting that Hindus and Muslims have always been one in Doda, Wani said it is necessary to act against the teachers.
"Whenever indiscipline starts in an institution or a communalized message is given out, it is important to take strict action," he added.
The students had staged a protest earlier this week to vent their ire over the diktat issued by the teachers and demanded their suspension.
