Pakistani all-rounder Abdul Razzaq has said that he still has the energy to compete at the international level.
Once regarded as one of the best all-rounders in the world, Razzaq's last outing was against Australia at the ICC World Twenty20 in Sri Lanka last year after which he was sidelined, with many believing that his snub was a result of his outburst against captain Mohammad Hafeez.
According to the Express Tribune, however, Razzaq declared his desire to make a comeback to international cricket after a chance in the PCB's regime and made himself available for domestic cricket before finally getting an entry in the national team for the two T20 games against South Africa in Dubai.
Elated with his return to the national team, Razzaq said that it is a huge positive for him, adding that he believes he still has the power and energy to win a match single-handedly given his improved fitness and increased bowling spells.
Razzaq said that the national team recall has brought new energy in him, adding that he will do his best to justify his selection.
