Afghanistan's presidential candidate Abdullah Abdullah has pulled out of an audit of votes cast in the June 14 elections calling the process 'a joke'.
Both presidential candidates Abdullah and Ashraf Ghani, who faced a tough stand-off during elections claimed victory amidst accusations of fraudulent activities.
According to the Dawn, the clashes between Abdullah and Ghani might revive ethnic violence in the country.
An attempt by Abdullah to withdraw has destroyed all efforts by the United Nations to bring democratic power in the country.
Abdullah won the eight candidate first round elections in April but June results stated that he had been far behind Ghani.
