Abhinav Bindra's father proud of son 'golden exit' from Commonwealth Games

Father of ace Indian shooter Abhinav Bindra feels proud that his son won a gold medal after announcing that this is the last time he is participating in the Commonwealth Games.

Bindra's father said that he is very happy that his son won gold at an international arena and in his last Commonwealth the shooter exit on a winning note.

Bindra bagged the golf medal in the 10-metre Air Rifle final at the Barry Buddon Shooting Centre in Glasgow.

Bindra's father said that he feels proud of his son, and added that the shooter has made billions of Indians happy by winning the individual gold medal for the country. He also added that Bindra gifted this gold medal to India.

 

India currently stands at the fifth position in the Commonwealth Games with 10 medals in all. India has now won three gold medals, four silver and three bronze ones in the Glasgow Commonwealth Games.
