Emily Blunt recently revealed how 'pretending to be someone else' helped her to overcome a speech disorder as a kid.

The 31-year-old actress, who struggled with stuttering between the ages of 7-14, opened up about her teacher whose advice helped her overcome the problem, adding the disorder alienated her as she had trouble communicating.

Blunt is now an active member in the activities of 'American Institute for Stuttering', which helps people get through this really anguished struggle of having a stutter.

The beauty will be soon seen in Warner Bros. Pictures' upcoming sci-fi movie 'Edge of Tomorrow' opposite Tom Cruise, which is based on the novel by Hiroshi Sakurazaka 'All You Need Is Kill', and will hit the Indian theatres on 6th June 2014.
