Adam Sandler, who was accused of criminal activity and slavery by his former nanny Deanne McDonald, has won the lawsuit against her, it has been revealed.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the California appeals court has ordered the nanny, who was given 80,000 dollars as a part of settlement after raising employment claims when her employment ended, to repay the amount.
The statement from court stated that McDonald's contentions, that the fee award was excessive and that HP Production Company had breached the settlement agreement, which was unconscionable, subject to rescission and not supported by adequate consideration, were not subjected to judicial review.
The court further continued that McDonald was precluded from raising them as grounds for reversal on appeal because the trial court correctly refrained from reaching the issues.
