It seems like now Adele's tears will decide how good her songs are penned.
In a recent interview, the 27-year-old singer said she realised that she is on to something good when her emotions get the best of her, E! Online reports.
The 'Someone 'Like You' hit-maker added "In order for me to feel confident with one of my songs it has to really move me."
The singer further said she comes to know that she has written a good songs when she starts crying on her own songs.

"It's when I just break out in [expletive] tears in the vocal booth or in the studio, and I'll need a moment to myself, she added.
Adele's upcoming third album, '25', is set to hit the chartbusters on Nov. 20.
