Sports giant Adidas has reportedly launched the new South African kit for the upcoming ICC World Twenty20 tournament, to be held in Bangladesh.
The jersey will have an embossed Protea flower across the front to further promote the national symbol established with the South African cricket team.
According to Sport24, both the men's and the women's team will be playing in the jersey, with the men's team playing in it for the first time in the upcoming T20 International series against Australia.
A Cricket South Africa (CSA) official said that the jersey reflects a youthful and fresh team, which will appeal to all fans, while Adidas stated that the jersey features the new and innovative Climachill technology, which uses titanium cooling dots strategically placed at keys areas on the body to help with cooling the core body temperature.
