New Delhi, Jan. 29 (ANI): The students in war-ravaged Afghanistan never get an opportunity to learn skills to their full potential.
Both the students and teachers find it difficult to get the right opportunity, infrastructure and quality education.
Recently, a team of 12 teachers from the Teachers' Training School in Baghlan province visited the national capital and attended a science workshop, which was organized by the I-Cube Science Club.
During the workshop, the teachers learned how science experiments can be done and understood the same in a simple manner.
The knowledge achieved during this workshop would help the Afghan teachers educate the students in their country about how science experiments can be done in an easy manner.
"We are obliged to our Indian colleagues, who provided us with this opportunity for science experiments. During these nine days, we have done more than 30 science experiments and all of them were so useful. We plan do it for our students back home," said Mohammad, an Afghan school teacher.

I-Cube Science Club, a social venture which trains the teachers in urban and rural areas of Haryana and Karnataka, is run by three young students.
The visiting Afghan teachers learnt various science experiments which are used in day-to-day science.
Teachers were happy to attend the workshop and acknowledged the Indian partners for their support and encouragement to develop scientific temper among the young Afghan students.
"We have a very close relationship as of now. We share close ties since long. Several Afghan students are now studying in India," said Jean Entezar, an official at Aga Khan Foundation.
Both India and Afghanistan share a long history of culture, tradition and close people to people contact. Such initiatives will not only enable the Afghan youth to learn new skills but will also develop good bilateral ties between both sides.
