Slamming Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's government over deteriorating law and order situation in Bihar, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Rajiv Pratap Rudy on Sunday said the state has become politically a completely hopeless case'.

Speaking to ANI at BJP's National Council meet in Calicut, Rudy took on the Nitish-Lalu Coalition government in the wake of the murder of an ASI in Patna.

"A peculiar combination that has taken away the whole gist of the Bihar politics, but we are afraid that nothing will improve in Bihar," he said.

Rudy said there is no one to govern Bihar and there is nothing called governance in the state.

"Crime could be anything, in Bihar it could be extortion, it could be kidnapping, it could be murder, it could be rape, it could be anything," he added.

"We can't say much about it, but we will keep fighting whatever and whenever it is required for the interest of Bihar," said Rudy.

An assistant sub-inspector was shot dead in Patna by unidentified criminals on Saturday afternoon.

The incident happened around 3 pm when R.R. Chowdhary, who was posted as ASI at the Telhara Police Station in Nalanda, was coming to Patna. Chowdhary died on the spot and the assailants escaped with his service revolver.
