Nestle India is headed for more trouble after a couple in Coimbatore complained about live beetles being found inside a pack of baby food 'Cerelac'.

The packet had an expiry date of May 20, 2016.

According to reports, the Food and Safety Department has collected the sample for a lab test, after which, they will decide on filing a complaint.

Nestle India has not yet responded on the issue.

Nestle's popular Maggi noodles has been banned by food safety regulator FSSAI due to presence of lead beyond permissible limits.

Nestle India has said it has started destroying Maggi instant noodles worth Rs. 320 crores after withdrawing stock from the market, factories and distribution networks.
