Sophie Hannah has been roped in to revive Agatha Christie's famed Belgian detective, Hercule Poirot, in a new novel.
The joint venture that involves Hannah, HarperCollins publishers and Christie's descendants was announced on Wednesday, the Sydney Morning Herald reported.
The still untitled volume, set to come out next year, is set in the late 1920s, and is going to be the first new Poirot story to appear since 'Curtain' was published 39 years ago.
