World number one Serena Williams, who won her sixth Wimbledon's singles title on Saturday, says that she draws inspiration from Swiss great Roger Federer.

Serena went to win her 21st Grand Slam title by defeating Garbine Muguruza of Spain 6-4, 6-4 in the title clash at the Centre Court.

At 33 years and 289 days old, Williams surpassed Martina Navratilova who was 33 years and 263 days when she won the last of her record nine Wimbledon's in 1990, Sport24 reported.

The 33-year old Swiss has already become the oldest man in the last 41 years to reach the All England Club final and will be taking on world number one Novak Djokovic for the men's title on Sunday.

Williams said that she saw Federer's semi-final match against Andy Murray and the way he was playing was unbelievable, adding that she was highly inspired by his match.

She also said that if she could do it and claim the title at this age, Federer can do it too.

She, however, believes that it will be a tough match against the defending champion and said that she was glad she didn't have to face any of them.
