ANI Washington [United States]

Governments in the world are now looking at using artificial intelligence to better patrol the borders.

The United States, Canada, and the European Union are testing out technology which includes lie-detecting computer kiosks using the latest AI tech to determine whether a person is lying to deceive officials, Digital Trends reported.

AI-based systems will be the next step after facial-recognition systems which are already deployed at some of the key airports around the world.

The lie-detecting technology will go beyond just facial recognition and incorporate a method to spot signs of potential shiftiness. These will include eye movements, vocal changes, odd posture or facial movements.
