AirAsia flight QZ8501: 30 bodies found, some still strapped to seats

Rescue teams have recovered 30 bodies so far in the search for AirAsia flight 8501 crash victims wherein some bodies were still strapped to their seats.

After a week of search operations, rescue teams found a total of 30 bodies. Most of them were rescued by a U.S. Navy ship, reported News24.

The Airbus A320 disappeared while traveling from Indonesia to Singapore with 162 people on board.

As the search operations continue, special equipment has also arrived to aid the search for the plane and its black box flight recorders.

According to officials, it could not be used on Friday as there were high waves.
