Airbus A320 crashes in French Alps, nearly 150 feared dead

An Airbus A320 airliner, carrying 142 passengers and six crew members, has crashed in the Southern French Alps.

As per reports, the plane was headed from Barcelona to Dusseldorf.

French President Francois Hollande was quoted by the BBC as saying that the conditions of the accident, which haven't yet been clarified, indicate that there are no survivors.

The plane belonged to the German airline, Germanwings, owned by Lufthansa.
