As a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitment, the Airports Authority of India (AAI) has decided to undertake rehabilitation of communities in couple of villages, which are worst affected by the massive floods in Uttarakhand.

The Airports Authority of India recognised that after the ongoing rescue operations, a similar challenge would be there towards rebuilding and rehabilitation of the affected communities.

Therefore, the Airports Authority of India intended to play a significant role in rehabilitation of the worst affected communities before the onset of winter.

It would assist thousands of people in the flood- affected areas to rebuild their shelter and restore their livelihood. The rehabilitation efforts of the Airports Authority of India would be undertaken in coordination with the state and local government authorities.
