National Security Advisor (NSA) to the Prime Minister of India Ajit Doval on Sunday morning offered 'pindadaan' at Bihar's Gaya for the salvation of his ancestors' soul.
Doval, along with his family, arrived in Gaya last night and offered 'pindadaan' to his ancestors in the premises of Vishnupad temple earlier today.
Reportedly, after his overnight stay at Gaya, Doval, a Z-plus protectee, will return to Delhi on Sunday.
People offer 'pindadaan' to their deceased ancestors to pray for their souls. As per beliefs, it is required to make the souls of the dead happy during the 'shradh' period to seek their blessings.
