Ajit Doval to visit Beijing ahead of Chinese President's India trip

National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval will embark on a three-day visit to China beginning on Monday during which he will hold talks with Chinese leaders.

Doval's visit is aimed at preparing the groundwork ahead of the crucial visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping to India later this month.

According to reports, Doval, who is also Special Representative for the India-China border talks, will meet his Chinese counterpart Yang Jiechi during his maiden trip to Beijing.

Doval will also call on the Chinese President during his visit.
