Akram to train Pak's next-generation pace bowlers

In an attempt to carve out fast bowling talents from the country, legendary fast bowler Wasim Akram will oversee Pakistan Cricket Board's (PCB) training camp at the National Stadium in Karachi from Aug 1 to 13.

According to the Dawn, the Haroon Rasheed-led national selection committee revealed names of promising fast bowlers to attend the camp, which are as follows:

Mir Hamza, Ahmed Jamal, Majid Ali, Taj Wali, Ammad Butt, Amir Yamin, Azizullah, Mohammad Irfan, Sameen Gul, M. Altaf Khan, Bilalwal and Zia-ul-Haq.

In addition, trials for selection of talented pace bowlers are currently underway at five venues and the selected players would join the above-mentioned players in the camp.
