Exactly a year ago, Akshay Kumar gave one of his best performances in Raja Krishna Menon-directed war thriller 'Airlift.'
The film not only garnered huge appreciations and success, but also was featured among the 2016 Indian Panorama section of the International Film Festival of India.
To celebrate one year of 'Airlift,' Akshay and female lead Nimrat Kaur took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the same, along with a poster from the film.
"Every actor has one film which means the world to him... @AirliftFilm is just that for me! #1YearOfAirlift," Akshay tweeted.
Nirmat wrote, "Really fortunate to have been a part of this journey...@RajaMenon @vikramix @akshaykumar #1YearOfAirlift #ForeverProud."
The film follows Ranjit Katyal, played by Akshay Kumar, a Kuwait-based businessman, as he carries out the evacuation of Indians based in Kuwait during the Invasion of Kuwait by Saddam Hussein's Iraq.
