Al Jazeera America is reportedly losing audience in the United States as it drew just 13,000 viewers a day since its launch on August 20.
The US offshoot of the Qatar-based media company seems to be losing its audience to its predecessor, Al Gore's Current TV, the New York Post reports.
It drew just 5,000 viewers in the 25 to 54-year old audience sought by advertisers, the report added.
Al Jazeera America is presently carried in about 44 million US households.
According to the report, the network lost millions of households, when Time Warner Cable dropped it shortly after its debut.
Meanwhile, Fox News drew 353,000 total viewers, while CNN notched 174,000 and MSNBC grabbed 121,000, the report added.
Al Jazeera America has been repeatedly criticized for harboring anti-US sentiments in the wake of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
