Family of Al-Jazeera journalist Peter Greste said that he was "safe, healthy and very happy" after he was freed and deported from Egypt and flown to Cyprus.
Greste who spent 400 days behind bars before he was freed, will not rest until his two colleagues are also released, said the journalist's brother.
According to Sky News, Greste was flown to Cyprus after receiving the presidential approval that allowed him out of the Cairo prison.
His colleagues, Mohamed Fahmy and Baher Mohamed remain in jail since December 2013 when the trio was held.
Greste was tried on charges that included spreading false news and aiding the Muslim Brotherhood after being arrested in December 2013.
