Al Qaeda and Islamic State (IS) jihadists in the Middle East are ramping up efforts to launch a huge cyber attack on the United States.

A hacker who had earlier broken into the Gmail account of former British Prime Minister Tony Blair is also a part of the upcoming attack.

According to Fox News, IS militants have posted online that they would propel a highly disruptive attack any time on American infrastructure or financial system.

IS fighters are openly claiming to establish a 'cyber caliphate' that will be protected by jihadists developed encryption software through which they hope to launch disastrous hacking and virus attacks on the Western countries including America.

Executive director of the Middle East Media Research Institute Steve Stalinsky said that the militant groups are extremely forward thinking and that these cyber attacks would soon become a daily reality.
