Al Shabab recruiting fighters in large numbers in north-eastern Kenya

According to reports, Somalia's Islamist militant group al Shabab is recruiting fighters in large numbers in north-eastern Kenya.

According to BBC, al Shabab's recruitment marks a new tactic for the group, underscoring fears voiced by Kenyan intelligence services and MPs.

In one town alone, 26 young men are suspected to have joined the terrorist group after their disappearance was reported to the police.

Al Shabab's Garissa massacre last week at a Kenyan university has been the deadliest till now that killed 150 people.
