Alec Baldwin's model daughter, Ireland, has raced to defend her dad amidst reports that he is homophobic
The 18-year-old model took to twitter and said it takes a lot of strength for someone to release their anger and a lot more strength for him to grow and become a better person, Contactmusic reported.
She wrote that they all have said things that they don't mean and can't take back.
She added that for someone who has battled with anger management issues, like her dad has grown tremendously and he is far from a homophobe.
She claimed that what her dad said was wrong but what he felt wasn't as he has an infant child to protect and he like every parent would do anything to protect his baby and therefore she requested to let her dad be and have his room to learn and enjoy his family.
The former 30 Rock star had came under fire after using a gay slur during a street clash with a photographer that was caught on film, but later also made an official apology insisting he did not intend to hurt anyone.
