The musical Grammys evening on February 15 went down the rabbit hole when the trailer of 'Alice Through the Looking Glass' debuted during the event.

Walt Disney Pictures' 'Alice Through the Looking Glass' is the sequel to 2010's 'Alice in Wonderland' where after spending five years following in her father's footsteps and sailing the seas, Alice Kingsleigh played by Mia Wasikowska, returns London only to wind up back in the whimsical world of Underland, reports E! Online.

The trailer further shows that Alice reunites with the White Rabbit, voiced by Michael Sheen, Absolem, voiced by Alan Rickman and the Cheshire Cat, voiced by Stephen Fry, as well as the Mad Hatter, Johnny Depp, who has lost his Muchness.

Mirana sends Alice on a journey to borrow the Chronosphere, a metallic globe inside the chamber of the Grand Clock. Alice meets old friends and foes as she travels back in time, and also encounters new people, like Zanik Hightopp the Mad Hatter's father, and even Time himself.

Linda Woolverton, who wrote 2014's Maleficent, 2010's Alice in Wonderland, 1994's 'The Lion King' and 1991's 'Beauty and the Beast', penned the script for 'Alice Through the Looking Glass'.

The film is based on author Lewis Carroll's second Alice novel, 1871's 'Through the Looking-Glass' and 'What Alice Found There'.
