The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led central government has called for an all-party meeting on December 10, ahead of Winter Session of Parliament.
The meeting, to be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has been called for smooth conduct of Parliament which is slated to begin from December 11 to January 8.
The session usually starts in November but due to the Assembly elections, in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Telangana, and Mizoram, it was delayed to December.
The Winter Session also holds significance since it would be the last full-fledged Parliament session before the Lok Sabha elections in 2019.
