As the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) reviewed it alliance with the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD), Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) president Manjit Singh G.K. on Tuesday said as far as Akali Dal is concerned, they have no doubt that the alliance will go on.
With the voices in the BJP getting louder against the alliance with the SAD, G.K. said, "The BJP-Alali Dal alliance is historical one and has stood the test of time. We have seen many victories and defeats together. As far as Akali Dal is concerned, we have no doubt that this alliance will go on. We don't have any problem."
"However, if there are voices in the BJP, and they want to part ways with the SAD, it's their choice, it's their decision, he added.
"The Akali Dal is strong enough to face the elections on its own, but our party is not for breaking the alliance, we want the alliance to go on," he added.
