'Alright, good night' last words of missing Malaysian Airlines plane pilot

The last words heard from the missing Malaysian Airlines (MAS) flight MH370 were "Alright, good night".

A meeting was held between the Malaysian and Chinese governments today during which, it was revealed that soon after the words were said by the pilot, the flight disappeared from radar screens.

According to the Straits Times, Malaysia's civil aviation officials confirmed the same at the meeting fronted by its envoy to China, Datuk Iskandar Sarudin, and held in a packed room with nearly 400 relatives at the Metropark Lido hotel.

The aviation officials said that the last words from the pilot were uttered after Malaysian air traffic controllers told the cockpit that they were entering Vietnamese airspace and that air traffic controllers from Ho Chi Minh city were taking over.
