Amazon is reportedly not so keen on allowing the use of Bitcoin for making payments.
While a lot of online retailers are slowly adapting the new form of encrypted payment, Amazon is yet to warm up to the idea.
According to Cnet, the head of Amazon payments Tom Taylor told Re/code that while the e-commerce giant has thought about the use of virtual currency, it has no plans to start accepting it.
He said that Bitcoin obviously gets a lot of press and the company hasn't considered it.
He added that the company hasn't heard from customers that it's right for them and doesn't have any plans within Amazon to engage Bitcoin.
