British boxing ace Amir Khan has said that he would be upset if he never gets an opportunity to face the undefeated American, Floyd Mayweather Jr. in the ring.

Khan defeated former world champion and career welterweight Luis Collazo to gild his 10st 7lb credentials at the first time of asking, although he did not emerge from the welterweight bout unscathed.

According to The Guardian, Khan said that he would be very disappointed if he never shared a ring with Mayweather as being a boxer, he always wants to fight the best, echoing the sentiments of former boxer Ricky Hatton, who lost only to the two best in the world: Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao.

However, Khan admitted that it would not be an easy task to fight Mayweather as the match will come down to who is quicker, adding that he believes Mayweather can be beaten with speed and has similar paces as him.
