Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah on Saturday urged party workers to diligently work on 'panna pramukh' strategy to succeed in Delhi Assembly elections and added that the saffron party will fight the elections with great fervor.

"If all the 'panna pramukh's do their work diligently and contact all the voters assigned to them daily, then nobody can stop us from winning the elections. By using this method of contacting people we have grown from a small party to a party ruling a nation like India. We have urged 'panna pramukhs' to make list of all key voters in their list, doctors, engineers, people running NGO's and other prominent people are the key voters, ensure that we meet all such people," Shah said while addressing a rally in the national capital.

"We will fight elections on our ideology and unity, we will fight elections with great fervor with which we have been fighting since the days of Jan sangh," he added.

'Panna pramukh' is a party worker who will contact with voters on each page of the electoral list. BJP had adopted this strategy in December last year during "panna pramukh sammelan" programme.

Shah further said that he is confident that his party will win with an absolute majority in the upcoming polls.

"We know that BJP will form a government in Delhi because during Lok Sabha elections we won all the 7 seats in Delhi, we know the mood of the people. We don't want our victory in the Delhi elections to be a onetime affair, we want to see BJP government in Delhi for the next 25 years," Shah said.

Delhi Assembly elections are scheduled to be held on February 7.
